Chess is a game that transcends language and culture. Whether a king or a queen, regardless of age or background, chess is the great equalizer. Chess is a wonderful outlet for introverted or unusually intelligent children. It's an excellent way to socialize and communicate without pressure.

MY STORY

I'm an expert level chess player whose interest in the game of chess started when I was 2 years old. When I was 4, my dad finally agreed to teach me how to play and my love of the game never stopped. I have been playing for 37 years and understand what it takes to become a higher rated player and work to tear down the wall that lower level rated players tend to hit.

I recognize the potential in each one of my students. With my customizable approach, I’ve seen my students’ self-esteem and skill-set consistently rise. I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. Since starting as a private teacher more than 15 years ago, my results are a testament to the fact that my system works.
